Finally another Christmas has arrived. An year long waiting for the Christmas is almost over. My Christmas thoughts are very sweet and well decorated memories. My school vaccation used to be during this time. A time to get those nicely written christmas greeting cards and Christmas wishes,nicely deccorated fruit and vanila cakes and not but least those colour ful Christmas tree and Christmas stars.. Each year the variety on all these driven me to wait for another Christmas.
First time i read about Jesus was when i received a free copy of the bible provided by some religious workers who visited our school. This gave me an opportunity to learn about a new religion which was not known to me before. A religion which has got a big number of followers all over the world. When i read that book I could find only the passion for humanity, kindness and consideration for others. I have read most of my own religion's holy books as well and I relate both books with these good qualities and messages form those books. But the present scenario is quite shocking. Pepole are trying to interpret wrongly and make false rumors, meanings and negative thoughts from those religious books. Terroristic thoughts, hattered, selfishness and cruelty are stored in the people's heart. Not a single religion teaches this. But the present followers are slaves of all those thoughts and the complete blame is on the religious priests, parents and Teachers of the society. It is the same religion, same holy books and the same people exisiting. But those people who lived some time ago thought much different than what our generation is thinking.
While browsing the channels in my tv I saw a scene few minutes ago where a small boy was fighting with a stray dog for his one time meal where another channel was showing a party function where the food were just thrown all over. A consideration for the other human being,or at least a thought of sharring will make him a good human being. Religion makes a guideline for a disciplined society . The religion is for humanbeing's wellness and good living. It is not for the sake of showing the majority or supiriority . No religion becomes the best unless and until it is best in human kindnes, carring and sharing and for the people.
Today every country is going through lots of threats and living conditions. Suicide attacks, terrorism which is of political and religious backing and corruption. No one knows what is next. Only a well groomed public with belief, humanity, share and care only can creat a good tomorrow where no one starvs and everyone enjoying the festival with one full heart. May this Christmas eve become a stepping stone for such a bright future.
